Procter & Gamble

The Procter & Gamble plant, seen here in probably the late 1940s, was located on the Seventh Street Peninsula, now Pier C and the site of the Matson/SSA terminal today.

June 18, 1930 -- A woman "launches" a ship made of Ivory Soap, likely at the dedication of the Procter & Gamble plant.
